Introducing the new Mark II model of our Electric Motorized Skein Winders! This new model features many improvements over the original model. First and most important is a more powerful and reliable American made motor (included on previous models since March 2010), and a larger drive pulley, together providing more torque and finer control of the winder's speed, especially at the slower settings. The Mark II Winder also features improved size markings on the arms, a new streamlined design, and a more compact speed control with longer cord.

These skein winders are constructed of premium grade birch plywood and solid hard maple making them solid and stable. With variable speed control and adjustable skein size these winders are ideal for just about any yarn winding situation. Great for winding skeins from cones or rewinding skeins from one of our heavy duty swifts.

We offer these skein winders in three sizes: 1½ yard (adjustable from 36" to 61" circumference), 2 yard (adjustable from 36" up to 89"), and 3 yard (adjustable from 36" to 116"), with single or triple skein pegs, and with or without a built in electronic digital revolution counter. Order the winder configuration that best suit your skein winding needs.

Note: the 1½ and 2 yard models can not be upgraded to a larger model, but the 2 yard and 3 yard models can wind 1½ and 1 yard skeins. For greater versatility, we recommend you order the larger model unless space is a factor or you don't plan to wind larger skeins.
