Hand Turned Wooden Drop Spindles

These beautiful top-whorl drop spindles are each hand turned by Christina M. Cooper. Each spindle is unique, made of different combinations of domestic and exotic hard woods. No templates are used, each spindle is designed as it is turned, and is a one-of-a-kind work of art. Finished in a hand rubbed oil, giving the spindle a soft sheen and enhancing the natural grain and color of the wood. Topped off with a hand shaped solid brass hook for beauty and durability.

Our spindles are well balanced with little or no wobble. They spin true and long, to produce consistent yarn with minimum effort.
